Membership Committee

The Membership Committee is responsible for reviewing the applications of applying papers and reporting to AAN members on their suitability for membership in the association. (Article I, Section 3 of the AAN bylaws states: "Admission to Regular membership in the association shall be by written application to the Membership Committee. The Membership Committee shall make its recommendation on each application to the Regular membership at the annual meeting. The recommendations of the Membership Committee shall be voted upon at the annual meeting, and approval of two-thirds of the members casting votes shall be required for admission to membership in the association.")
