The Arkansas Times, founded in 1974, is moving away from the "weekly" identifier thanks to our daily news and culture reporting at www.arktimes.com that supplements our award-winning weekly newspaper. Our Arkansas Blog, one of four daily blogs, is the most widely-read politics and news blog in the state. Our website also features guides on shopping, dining and adventuring, and searchable databases on public records such as state, county and city salaries. We host a weekly podcast, send out daily and weekly e-mail news alerts and interact daily with our thousands of Twitter followers and Facebook fans. We’ve hosted panel discussions and seminars, sponsored bus trips to music festivals and organized battles of the bands and pinewood derbies for adults.
