Founding Editor of Fast Forward Weekly Departs

Ian Chiclo, the publisher and founding editor of Calgary's Fast Forward Weekly, has left the publishing industry to join Tourism Calgary as director of digital marketing.

Chiclo became the founding editor of Fast Forward Weekly in 1995 and was named publisher in 2001. Former arts editor Drew Anderson will replace him as will be the paper's new editor:
A third-generation Calgarian, Anderson received a degree in political science from the University of Victoria and a diploma in journalism from SAIT. A political junkie at heart with a love of the arts, Anderson was previously the arts and lifestyle editor at Fast Forward Weekly before taking a position as the Going Out editor at Swerve magazine.
