Winner of Pulitzer Prize in foreign reporting as part of a Dallas Morning News team in 1994 for series on violence against women worldwide. Winner of numerous other awards, including George Polks Award, AAN business writing award, EMMA Award, and several Dallas Press Club "Katies."
