The Miami New Times, the Magic City's only true alternative newspaper, celebrates its 20th anniversary in grand fashion with an extravagant multi-media 'Happening', Artopia on Wednesday, January 19th at PARKWEST nightclub.

Integrating live music acts, DJs, silent short films, fashion shows, visual artists and live performances, Artopia reflects the unequaled cultural diversity of Miami. The party is the first of what is to become an annual event, proving the newspaper's commitment to promoting and presenting the best in local talent.

The multi discipline event sponsored by the City of Miami Cultural Arts and Entertainment, A3, Sweat Records, Zin Master and Belvedere Vodka will include performances and presentations by Raffa & Rainer, ANR, DJ LeSpam and the Spam All Stars, Deuce Crew, DJ Hottpants, Circ X, Animate Objects Physical Theater, Carlos A. Navarro, Romance in a Can, Crunk Punks, Adam Schrimmer, Kristina Ashley Bikini Line, Rucht D'Oleo Designs and UD/Style Lab. Performances start promptly at 9 p.m.
