Phoenix New Times Story Leads to Scrutiny of Ariz. Deputy

After a Phoenix New Times cover story last week cast doubts on Arizona sheriff's deputy Louie Puroll's claim that he was shot by drug smugglers, the case is garnering national -- and international -- attention, including a spot on ABC News last night:

The story by New Times staff writer Paul Rubin also ran in several other VVM papers last week and as a result of all the attention, the Pinal County Sheriff's Office is reopening the case.
