San Antonio Current Hires Former Seattle Weekly Editor to Cover Spurs through NBA Playoffs

SAN ANTONIO—The San Antonio Current, San Antonio’s award-winning alternative media company, is pleased to announce the recent hire of Mike Seely, a seasoned journalist and Spurs enthusiast, to chronicle the San Antonio Spurs in their quest for the 2013 NBA Championship.

Seely, former Editor-in-Chief of Seattle Weekly, currently serves as editorial director for Seattle-based ReelWorld Productions. Seely’s longtime appreciation for the San Antonio Spurs and experience in alternative media made him the ideal candidate to cover the team. “I was looking for the right opportunity to come back to journalism—and this is it,” said Seely.
