Santa Fe Reporter Names New Editor
The Santa Fe Reporter has named Julie Ann Grimm, a city government reporter for the Santa Fe New Mexican, as its new editor. Grimm will take over for Alexa Schirtzinger, who is leaving to pursue a Knight Fellowship at Stanford University.
Grimm has worked at the New Mexican—whose offices are just across the street from SFR's—for a little over 10 years, "which means I've been lurking around City Hall and keeping tabs on taxing, spending and services since before David Coss became mayor," she writes in an email to SFR.

Originally from St. Louis, Mo., Grimm is a graduate of the University of Missouri - Columbia, where she got her bachelor's degree in journalism. After graduating, she moved to New Mexico and spent close to three years working for the Associated Press in Albuquerque.
