The Other Paper Acquired by Columbus Dispatch Parent Co.
The parent company of the Columbus Dispatch has acquired The Other Paper, along with several Columbus-focused niche publications.

With the purchase, the company now owns the main daily newspaper, monthly magazine and alt-weekly in Columbus. In 2005, the company purchased the city's other alt-weekly, former AAN member Columbus Alive.

“The addition of these titles to our niche print and digital portfolio is a very exciting prospect,” Dispatch CEO John Wolfe said in a statement. “Putting all of these titles under one roof opens up enormous and exciting possibilities for local readers, subscribers and advertisers.”
