Texas Observer Editor Bob Moser Departs
Texas Observer editor Bob Moser is leaving to become the executive editor of The American Prospect.

Moser — who has also served as editor of the Independent Weekly in Durham, N.C. — will join fellow alt-weekly alum Kit Rachlis, who was named editor of the Prospect in February.

“We’re excited and honored to have Bob join the magazine,” Rachlis said in a press release. “The work he did in transforming the Texas Observer was remarkable. Under his leadership that storied publication became vital again.”
