Getting Around Miami
Everyone rides free on the Metromover. Start your trip from any station. Look for the Metromover map at street level or near the entrance to each station.

Getting to Downtown Miami from Miami International Airport
By Metrorail
- Upon claiming your luggage, follow the signs for Level 3 -- Rental Car Center (the Metrorail Station is located in this area).
- Once you arrive in the Rental Car Center, follow the signs for Metrorail (Orange Line).
- At the Metrorail Station you will need to purchase a ticket to board the train. Tickets are $2.00 for a one-way trip and can be purchased from the vending machines located throughout the station.
- Once you purchase your ticket, board the Orange Line and get off at the 8th stop -- Brickell. The trip from the airport to the Brickell stop takes approximately 20 minutes. The Brickell station is located at 1001 SW First Avenue, Miami.
- At the station, you can connect to the Metromover for a free ride to the InterContinental. The Metromover and Metrorail stations are next to each other and are connected by an overhang. Board the Metromover and get off at the sixth stop, Bayfront Park, which is located directly across the street from the InterContinental.
